About Black and Blue
This started on a whim, as a practice comic, it wasn't well planned or scripted.
I just knew that I loved Evil Empires.
Sometimes the Evil Empire soldier is my favorite character in a story and he just gets shot by the hero and hardly even gets a line! :(
So I wanted to tell the story of one of these "expendable" people because I care about them even if no-one else does ;_; (tears of LOVE).
I think my influences are obvious, Star Wars, Lexx, Farscape, Battlestar Galactica.
The universe I set this in was not well-crafted or original, more like a cardboard cut-out based on my favorite shows/movies. I didn't give a lot of thought (any at all) to originality since it was just a "short practice comic"
So I just want to put that out there for the record, rather than implying that this is an original masterpiece by moi.
I consider it semi-fan-fiction but it's fan-fiction of the faceless soldiers in these stories more than the stories themselves.

So I made a new username and deleted my old one, but I didn't know that would delete everything I'd ever posted. Now people will think I'm some kind of snobby artist who never responds to comments! D:

Printing news...
So I looked at it, and the thing is, at the time I started my computer could not handle large files and I had no intentions of printing so I did not save the pages in a printable size.
I would have to re-scan everything, which is not too bad, but a majority of the coloring is done in photoshop and it is just not a manageable amount of re-work... it would probably take me a year, optimistically. :(
While that WOULD give me plenty of coloring practice I also might go insane. So I have to say, unfortunately, I'd rather spend that time working on something new.
I love you guys for wanting a copy :D thank you so much! I think you can download the zip file from this site, sorry that's all I can offer you right now but I hope you will like my next thing as much, and I'll save it print sized!
